Looking for a challenging role in digital media? Our client is expanding its team in South East Asia, and we're seeking a Media Technician to join. This position is all about ensuring the technical quality and compliance of commercials for broadcasters. Here's what you'll be doing:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Technical Operations**: QC TV commercials, identify issues, offer solutions, and make compliance corrections.
- **Ingest and Edit**: Technical ingestion, editing, and preparation of advertising material for distribution to media outlets.
- **FTP Management**: Administer FTP, transcode files, and ensure digital file integrity.
- **Compliance**: Ensure all content adheres to broadcasting standards.
- **Digital Editing**: Edit content for digital, social, and online platforms.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work with the team to meet deadlines and communicate effectively.
- **Client Liaison**: Proactively engage with clients for order processing and issue resolution.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years of media operating experience, including ingesting, video editing, and production.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere.
- Strong understanding of broadcast and digital media formats.
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects and Photoshop is a plus.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Familiarity with broadcast file formats like MXF and MOV.
- Understanding of digital, social, and online formats (MP4, WebM, etc.).
- Knowledge of audio standards and terminology.
- Expertise in transcoders and file creation techniques.
- Understanding of containers, codecs, and encoding.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This role is on-site, with shift rotations, including Sundays and scheduled public holidays.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: RM3,300.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
