This FMCG company in Negeri Sembilan is seeking a Factory Manager with experience in Plastic Injection Molding machines.

Key Responsibilities:

- This role is integral to our business expansion.
- Overall accountability for technical support in the plant, covering production, machine maintenance, mold maintenance, and utilities.
- Uphold, drive, supervise, and implement robust technical standards, systems, and processes.
- Influence technology strategies and decisions with a high level of expertise and knowledge.
- Conduct processing of various plastic materials.
- Monitor and control online rejection.
- Provide direction and support to ensure compliance with relevant legislative specifications and standards.
- Monitor production status and critical spares requirements.
- Implement the production program, review efficiency, and achieve better quality and efficiency standards.
- Ensure a safe working environment.
- Effectively plan the use of the best available resources.
- Develop effective communication channels between departments to enhance teamwork.
- Address quality complaints with proper root cause analysis, ensuring no repeat occurrences, and present findings to customers using PowerPoint.
- Identify training needs for the team, arrange training for subordinates, and enhance competency.
- Motivate the team to produce quality work while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Guide and organize safety toolbox talk training programs.
- Organize safety team activities.
- Monitor and plan effective maintenance of molds, machines, and utilities.
- Act as a key contact with customers experiencing technical issues.
- Support and assist top-level senior management.
- Coordinate with vendors effectively.

Skills & Experience Required:

- Degree in any Engineering/Management studies.
- Minimum 5-8 years of experience in leading factory operations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of injection molding, preferably IML.
- Knowledge of machine installation.
- Proficient in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical work.
- Planning and undertaking scheduled maintenance.
- Handling machine breakdowns within a minimum timeframe and working on downtime.
- PLC troubleshooting expertise.
- Knowledge of utilities such as compressors, chillers, air dryers, pumps.
- Knowledge in ancillaries like MTC, AHU, AC, Sleeving Machine, etc.
- Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems and troubleshooting.
