**Job Title : ACCOUNTS MANAGER**

**Department : Accounts**

**Report To : Chief Financial Officer**

**Objective**:
The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the financial and accounting functions within the WLG, managing human resources and administrative activities, and handling purchasing and procurement responsibilities. This role plays a critical part in managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, providing accurate financial reports, overseeing HR and administrative functions, and optimizing purchasing and procurement processes.

Responsibilities:

- **Financial Management**:

- Oversee the financial activities within the WLG, including budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting.
- Ensure the efficient use of financial resources and the maintenance of financial stability.
- **Accounting and Reporting**:

- Maintain and manage financial records, general ledger, and accounts payable/receivable.
- Generate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, and present them to management.
- **Financial Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with auditors and regulatory bodies during financial audits.
- **Budget Management**:

- Develop and manage budgets for the WLG sector, monitoring expenses and revenues.
- Analyze financial data and make recommendations to optimize financial performance.
- **Financial Analysis**:

- Analyze financial trends and performance, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, revenue, and process improvement.
- Present financial analyses and recommendations to management.
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**:

- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including vendor payments and customer invoicing.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the availability of funds for business operations.
- **Financial Planning and Strategy**:

- Contribute to the development of financial strategies and plans to support the growth and stability of the WLG sector.
- Provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- **Human Resources Management**:

- Oversee HR functions within the WLG, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations (including payroll).
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company HR policies.
- **Administrative Oversight**:

- Manage administrative functions, including office operations, facilities management, and procurement.
- Implement and maintain administrative processes and procedures to optimize efficiency.
- **Purchasing and Procurement**:

- Oversee and manage the purchasing and procurement processes for the sector, including vendor selection, negotiations, and contracts.
- Ensure the procurement of goods and services aligns with company standards and cost-efficiency goals.

**Authority**:
The Accounts Manager has the authority to:

- Manage and oversee financial transactions and reporting within the WLG.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for financial strategies and planning.
- Oversee HR and administrative functions within the sector.

**Job Specification**:

- a) **Education**: Preferably bachelor's Degree/LCCI in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- b) **Experience**: Proven experience (5 - 8 years) in financial management or accounting.
- c) **Special kills/Training**:

- Excellent in Excel
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards, HR, and administrative functions.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Financial planning and strategy development expertise.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM6,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
