**Experience required**:

- At least 1 years of working experience in the Procurement & IT is required for this position.
- Evidence of ability to deliver on projects and plans.
- Experience of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Basic knowledge in accounting, inventory management, sourcing, and/or logistics-related information technology experience would be essential.
- Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels
- Strong communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities
- Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines
- Commercially and financially aware with experience of managing budgets
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of ERP (SG Soft) will be an added advantage

**Responsibilities**:

- Procurement_
- Execute the operations and daily activities of the purchasing department for MSSC.
- Establish and implement purchasing policies, procedures and best practices. Incorporates best practices and market research into procurement practices to ensure and obtains the possible price.
- Monitor ongoing compliance with purchasing policies and procedures
- Direct procurement policies to ensure all items are purchased and delivered within budget and time constraints
- Identify and source new suppliers and vendors
- Manage vendor and supplier selection process based on price, quality, support, capacity and reliability
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
- Develop, negotiate and administer purchasing agreements and contracts with suppliers in support of organizational requirements
- Evaluate contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies
- Monitor supplier and vendor compliance with contractual agreements
- Measure and manage the vendor and supplier cost, quality and delivery performance
- Oversee supplier compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations
- Troubleshoot cost, quality and delivery concerns
- Manage risk relating to quality, cost, delivery and supply of purchases
- Work with relevant departments to manage inventory requirements
- Review purchase orders for proper authorization and compliance with organizational policy and procedures
- Monitor and reduce purchase variances to meet profit objectives
- Produce regular reports on purchase commitments, costs and delivery performance
- Direct continuous improvement of purchasing processes in line with changing organizational needs and market conditions
- Assures suppliers deliver materials and services in accordance with standards of price, time, quantity and quality agreed upon.
- Assures all invoices are audited for compliance with contract terms and supervises contract closeout.
- Responsible for ensuring records are maintained and procurements are documented from origination through completion.
- Maintains complete record of authority contracts for goods and services.
- Coordinates routinely with other departments to assure effective and timely coordination and team work in procuring goods and services.
- Provides procurement research, guidance and direction by presenting available procurement options.
- Information Technology_
- Upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
- Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
- Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.
- Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures.
- Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT related matter.
- To comply and enforce the compliances of the available SOP/ ISO 9001/ ISO 14001 & etc.
- To ensure the internal and external audit successfully.
- To ensure that all the required recording, reporting and filling are properly carried out.

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
