Attend to patient efficiently and attend to patients/next-of-kin/visitors promptly at the frontline counter
- register patients for admission to hospital ensuring that all policies and procedures are observed
- Enter accurate patient's data entry during pre-admission/admission registration process
- provide detailed pre-admission counseling on deposit collection and hospital charges
- screen financial status of patients/relatives and counsels for deposits prior admission and get the relevant clearance for admission
- attend to emergency room (ER) patients who are not accompanied by relatives for deposit collection to Payment Counter (cash, credit/or debit card payment)
- screen guarantee letter arrangements for admission
- Assist patients with guarantee letter arrangements for admissions
- Assess patients medical card for verification, eligibility, and financial coverage for admission
- Initiate and complete all required TPA/MCO insurance claim forms
- Communicate with doctors/nurses regarding completion of Insurance (Admission) form for guarantee letter approval
- Contract TPA/insurance Company for guarantee letter coverage for patients’ medical condition prior admission
- Inform the ward staff and the patient and/or next-of-kin on any TPA/MCO guarantee letter decline (non-coverage)
- Allocate booking of beds for patients according to eligibility or request
- For booked cases cancellation e.g. OT cases, booked admissions, inform the Operation Theatre, Surgeon, or Clinic Nurse, or Ward staff on any cancellation of beds retrieve any previous case notes for admission
- Assist in preparing the Daily Payment Info status for Billing Department to follow-up
- Maintain the department admission census and bed availability
- Accompanied patients to the respective ward for admission
- Participate in the hospital QA activities
- Assist the Front Office Manager, Front Office Executive, Front Office Officer, and/or Front Office Assistants in Submitting confidential payroll documents including pay slip summary, appraisal forms, attendance sheets, claims, and etc. to Payroll Department
- Assist the Front Office Manager, Front Office Executive, Front Office Officer, and/or Front Office Assistants in checking the department’s attendance sheet and alert the Front Office Manager, Front Office Executive, Front Office Officer, and/or Front Office Assistants to follow-up on documentation to support an absent day(s) or late reporting(s) to Human Resource Department
**Salary**: From RM1,500.00 per month
