As a Commis (Pastry) at Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, you will be an integral part of our culinary team, responsible for assisting in the preparation and production of high-quality pastry items. Working under the guidance of the Head Pastry Chef, you will contribute to the creation of delightful desserts and baked goods that meet the standards set by Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Assist in Pastry Preparation**: Work closely with our experienced pastry chefs to prepare high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods according to our standards and recipes.
- **Maintain Kitchen Hygiene**: Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation standards to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the pastry kitchen. Follow food safety protocols and guidelines.
- **Quality Control**: Monitor the freshness and quality of ingredients used in pastry production. Assist in inventory management and ensure proper storage of perishable items.
- **Collaboration**: Work as part of a collaborative kitchen team, communicating effectively with chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the pastry section.
- **Adaptability**: Be adaptable and ready to assist in various tasks within the pastry kitchen as required. Learn and grow in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a pastry role or culinary diploma/certificate with a focus on pastry.
- Passion for pastry and a strong interest in learning and developing new skills.
- Basic knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert preparation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene practices.
