Commis Chef 2

Tiarasa Escapes Glamping Resort in Janda Baik, Bentong, Pahang is looking for Commis Chef 2 & 3 to prepare meal ingredients for the Head Chef / Chef de Partie and assist with various kitchen duties. The Commis Chef's responsibilities also include informing the supervisor of malfunctioning or broken kitchen equipment, unpacking and organizing deliveries, and mopping up kitchen spills to prevent accidents and injuries. The Commis Chef shall also ensure that all food items are properly stored to prevent spoilage.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting in the food preparation process.
- Cooking and preparing elements of high-quality dishes.
- Checking mep before service and replenish it before service.
- Preparing vegetables, meats and fish.
- Packing production items.
- Storing the produced item in freezer or chiller with proper containers.
- Check all the labelling every day.
- Assisting and take instructions from Head Chef / Chef de Partie or other supervising chefs.
- Arranging received goods during delivery days.
- Assisting with stock rotation.
- Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
- Must always follow the rule of clean as you go.
- Cleaning cooking stations, chillers & freezers on daily basis.
- Conduct cleaning of utensils before service time.
- Cook food according to the standard set by the Head Chef.
- Set up & clearing buffets.
- Leave the kitchen as a clean and well-equipped kitchen for the next shift.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
