Responsibilities:
Vessel Maintenance and Repairs: Develop and implement maintenance and repair plans for vessels, including routine maintenance, dry-docking, and major repairs. Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective execution of maintenance activities.

Technical Support: Provide technical guidance and support to vessel crews and onboard engineers, assisting in troubleshooting technical issues, identifying solutions, and ensuring proper implementation.

Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with technical and regulatory requirements, including class rules, flag state regulations, and international maritime standards (e.g., SOLAS, MARPOL). Keep abreast of regulatory changes and update vessel procedures and systems accordingly.

Spare Parts and Inventory Management: Oversee the procurement, stock control, and inventory management of spare parts and equipment required for vessel maintenance and repairs. Optimize inventory levels and ensure timely availability of critical spares.

Budgeting and Cost Control: Contribute to budget development for vessel maintenance and repair activities. Monitor expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement measures to optimize spending while maintaining vessel performance and safety.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor vessel performance and condition through data analysis, inspections, and technical reports. Identify trends, deviations, and areas for improvement and take appropriate corrective actions.

Dry-docking and Surveys: Plan and coordinate vessel dry-docking, including scope of work, budgeting, contractor selection, and project management. Coordinate and oversee class surveys and inspections to ensure vessel compliance and certification.

Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical records, including maintenance schedules, repair histories, and vessel certificates. Prepare technical reports, documentation for audits, and other required reports.

Safety and Environmental Compliance: Collaborate with the safety and environmental teams to ensure that vessels adhere to safety and environmental regulations. Implement and monitor preventive measures and risk assessments to minimize accidents, incidents, and environmental impact.

**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
