**Summary**

**Reporting to Senior Director of Operation, Director of Manufacturing directs the development and implementation of operation activities maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing a high-quality product to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives, and future vision of manufacturing operations within a cross-matrixed and global organization. Success in this role requires being a leader, strategic thinker, and problem solver.**
- Tasked with cultivating a high-performing team dedicated to excellence in safety, quality, delivery, and cost metrics.
- Establish an organization that prioritizes safety and quality as fundamental principles of its work culture. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead an engaging organization that achieves top-tier employee satisfaction and retention. Provide leadership, direction, and clear vision for large-scale manufacturing within a lean production environment.
- Develop and sustain production and staffing plans to adapt to changes in demand and product mix. Ascertain the resources and reporting structures needed to support round-the-clock production; focus 80% of time on strategic initiatives and thinking to boost productivity through the empowerment of people, processes, and technology.
- Delegate tasks to maintain strategic focus, even during periods of growth or high activity.
- Promote Lean principles, tools, and techniques to instill a mindset and behaviors aligned with lean operations.
- Direct, coach, and mentor team members; ensure accountability in prioritizing employee development, performance coaching, and continuous feedback to form highly effective teams.
- Disseminate the vision, priorities, strategies, standard procedures, and core values throughout the organization.
- Remain informed about industry-related trends and external factors that could affect Lam, taking proactive steps to educate and drive necessary changes.
- Identify suitable IT infrastructure, reporting, and dashboard systems to achieve overarching objectives.
- Implement a Quality system and methodologies in planning and manufacturing processes.
- Consistently assess performance benchmarks and propel the organization to meet and surpass industry-leading performance standards.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical or Engineering field, Masters (MBA, master’s in engineering, other Operational discipline) is required.
- Preferred working experience in a Multi-National Company (MNC) environment with senior executive positions for 10 years and above.
- New and Greenfield Startup experience building a new team and leading through a period of significant growth is an added benefit.
- Lean / Six Sigma certification with demonstrated competence in scientific problem solving, and ability to drive data driven decisions.
- Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into locally relevant operational plans. Strong and proven execution capabilities
- Ability to set and manage accountabilities and expectations at all levels, acts quickly to resolve conflicts.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time and work across time zones.
