**Job Scope**
- Operating and managing the main section in the kitchen and liaising with the **Sous Chef & Junior Sous** to ensure a successful working environment
- Preparing ingredients and handling daily operations and other kitchen equipment
- Ensure all equipment are in clean and hygienic condition
- Maintaining consistency in product and food quality
- Assisting in preparations of ingredients, and product as instructed by the head of section
- Work in a designated section set by the management
- Monitoring the stocks and all Hot & Cold supplies are in proper order
- Cultivating Commis 2 & Commis 3 in their training and work progress
- Ensuring their section of the kitchen adheres to safety and health regulations
- Coming in to work presentable and clean at all times
- Ensure to comply with the food safety, hygiene polices and standard operating procedure set by the management
- Any other duties as assigned by the superior and/or authorized personnel
**Job Requirement**
- Minimum 1 year experience as in a hotel or restaurant industry
- Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in handling emergency situations and providing solutions
- Team player, multi-task, positive and able to work under pressure
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM1,900.00 per month
