**Description of role**:

- Work with different procedures and types of equipment.
- Perform various duties that include fitting and rigging, inspection and non-destructive testing, drafting, underwater photography and underwater welding & cutting.
- Be assistance to the Programme manager in the field of Health & Safety planning and Training Scheduling.
- Have exceptional communication skills apart from interpersonal skills that will help them work well with the remainder of the team.
- Be primarily responsible for the health & safety of the students during diving at practical training.
- Directly responsible for the diving operation's safe management of any incidents or accidents that may occur during the operation
- To be available at the control point (Dive Control Room) of the diving & training operation for the diving operation's duration, and to manage the planned dive and any contingencies that may occur.
- Familiar with the international & national details of competence, requirements, qualifications, registration and formal appointment differ depending on jurisdiction and relevant codes of practice.

4. IMCA Offshore Diving Supervisor Certification Scheme
- To provide technical expertise on all Under Water Inspection - NDT matters as required.
- Assist and support the students or the project teams on all UW Inspection matters;
- Review Students' specifications and scopes of work, examine & prepare detailed Underwater Training procedures to achieved maximum health & safety of the students in accordance with specified quality;
- Assist QHSE Department on subcontractor assessments/audits;
- Ensure that records are maintained for all activities to demonstrate achievement of client requirements;
- Maintain departmental project UWT files so that information is readily available to other department members.
- To support the team with required skills, motivation & reputation.
- To assist Programme Manager to make appropriate equipment & systems investments to meet service and financial objectives.
- To foster and encourage collaboration with other sections and functions.
- To follow policies and systems to ensure compliance with current legislation and best practice, in particular in the areas of Quality Assurance and Health, Safety and Environment.
- To advise the Programme Manager on operational matters.
- To initiate and have proactive involvement in efficiency improvement.
- Prepare NDT procedures for assigned project;
- To provide technical knowhow and maintenance of the diving system according to IMCA guidelines

**Requirement of the role**:

- Significant experience in functional area
- Relevant Degree in Commercial Diving & Underwater Inspections
- Good communication skills in English
- More than 5 years of working experience
- Microsoft Computer

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: RM7,300.00 - RM15,300.00 per month
