Kindergarten Teacher

Position Summary:
A kindergarten teacher plays a crucial role in the early childhood education of young learners. Responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment, the kindergarten teacher focuses on fostering social, emotional, and cognitive development in children aged 5 to 6. This position involves implementing age-appropriate curriculum, assessing student progress, and collaborating with parents and colleagues to ensure a well-rounded educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Curriculum Planning and Implementation**: Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes the overall growth of kindergarten students.Plan engaging and interactive lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities. Integrate play-based learning strategies to enhance the educational experience.
- **Classroom Management**: Establish and maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and cooperation among students. Implement effective behavior management techniques to address individual and group behavior challenges. Foster a sense of community and teamwork within the classroom.
- **Assessment and Progress Monitoring**: Conduct regular assessments to evaluate students' academic progress, social development, and other relevant skills. Keep detailed records of student performance and communicate progress to parents through regular reports and conferences. Use assessment data to tailor instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- **Parent Communication**: Collaborate with parents to create a strong partnership in supporting children's learning and development. Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress, goals, and any concerns. Provide regular updates on classroom activities, events, and educational objectives.
- **Professional Development**: Stay informed about best practices in early childhood education and attend professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in team meetings to share ideas, resources, and strategies.
- **Cultural Sensitivity**: - Promote a culturally sensitive and inclusive classroom environment that respects and celebrates diversity. Incorporate multicultural perspectives into the curriculum to create a well-rounded educational experience.

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
