General Inspector

**A) Qualification**

i. Minimum SPM or equivalent academic qualification.

ii. Hold the following certificates which shall be kept current and valid at alltimes:
a) CSWIP 3.2 / PCN Senior Welding Inspector, Level 3.2 certification

b) NACE Level II / IMM Certified Coating Inspector or equivalent

c) PCN/CSWIP/JPK/ASNT/ACCP Level II or equivalent for UT, MT & PT or equivalent and minimum FIVE (5) years’ appropriate experience in theoil and gas industry including offshore/onshore site experience,

**OR;**

e) CSWIP / PCN Welding Inspector, Level 3.1 certification

f) NACE Level II / IMM Certified Coating Inspector or equivalent

g) PCN/CSWIP/JPK/ASNT/ACCP Level II or equivalent for UT, MT & PT or equivalent and minimum TEN (10) years’ appropriate experience in theoil and gas industry including offshore/onshore site experience

**B) Experience : -**

i. Be conversant in inspection and maintenance philosophy.

iv. Be able to read and interpret on engineering drawings.

v. Be fully conversant with mechanical catalogues, general arrangement (GA), P&ID and other related drawings for the mechanical and piping equipment and installation.

vi. Be able to review, comment and approve inspection reports prepared by inspectors.

vii. Be able to review, comment and approve welding procedures (WPS).

viii. Be able to review inspection procedures submitted by contractors and preparein-house inspection procedures

ix. Have a sound knowledge of International Standards and codes relating to oiland gas industry, structure, pipelines, pressure vessels and process facilities

b) e.g. ASME, AWS, API, ASTM, SSPC, BGAS, and NACE standard specifications

and statutory body (DOSH) related to corrosion control and monitoring activities
