Dormitory Technician

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- To ensure hostel surrounding cleanliness in good conditions according to Hostel & Surrounding Checklist.
- To monitor and upkeep company facilities and utilities.
- Assist in liaising with government authorities when necessary, such as MPS, BOMBA and Police.
- Responsible to upkeep and monitor all firefighting equipment.
- To provide Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control for admin activity.
- Responsible to brief and monitor safety compliance for HR contractor.
- Ensure environmental, health and safety procedure are in compliance.
- Responsible hosting regular inspection to check room housekeeping, cleanliness, safety and maintenance.
- Ensure all mechanical, electrical, sanitary & plumbing systems are properly maintained & up-keep in good working condition.
- Ensure toilet fittings are well kept, good working condition and clean.
- Able to allocate tasks based on priority and urgency.
- Identify and report the need for major repairs.
- Maintain and store spare parts of machinery and equipment.
- Able to work effectively with maintenance needs.
- Able to follow superior's instruction and co-operate with the team.
- Assist in the day-to-day maintenance, repair & replacement of fused light bulb / fittings when required.
- Carry out weekly proper checking & maintenance of building finishes such as wall paintings, doors and flooring.
- Conduct daily inspections and maintenance tasks and buildings as per service order list.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management from time to time when necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Posses at least Diploma in Engineering, preferably in Electrical and Mechanical.
- At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English, Malay and Mandarin (preferred).
- Possess knowledge in plumbing, piping installation, and maintenance.

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
