Nursery Supervisor

**Position: Nursery Supervisor**
**Salary: RM2,000- RM2,300**
**Working hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM**
**Working Days: Monday
- Friday**
**Location: Kampung Bharu, Kuala Lumpur.**

1) The Preschool Program Coordinator is a key member of an administrative team that works together to support the mission and values of the Next caliphs Nature Childcare Centre.
2) The Playschool Centre Coordinator works closely with the Infant/Toddler Supervisor to ensure that all functions of this Job Description are fulfilled
3) The Playschool Centre Coordinator is responsible for the operation and administration of the preschool-age classrooms.
4) The Playschool Centre Coordinator is committed to sustaining a high-quality childcare a program that values partnerships between families and staff.
5) The Playschool Centre Coordinator creates an open and honest working environment that inspires professionalism and rewards creative, innovative teaching.
6) Provide expert advice in preschool programming. Regularly attend trainings/conferences and read journals to keep abreast on current developments in area of expertise.
7) Family Partnerships. Respond promptly and appropriately to parent concerns, involving teachers, administrators, families, or external support personnel as needed
8) Staffing: Work in coordination with the Operation Executive to hire, train, mentor, and supervise all preschool classroom early learning program staff
9) Additional task Recruiting and interviewing prospective employees.
10) Providing orientation for new staff members
11) Ensuring efficient scheduling to maintain required staff-child ratios.
12) Provide ongoing mentoring and coaching to preschool classroom staff through spending time in classrooms to introduce and support new ideas, strategies, etc.
13) Work with preschool classroom staff in moving along the continuum of implementing PIC-appropriate aspects of Reggio Emilia inspiration, Emergent Curriculum, and extended projects.
14) Work with preschool classroom staff on understanding and implementing documentation as part of their curricular work.
15) Work with preschool classroom staff on learning about and implementing increased technology for communication.
16) Work with classroom staff to have an understanding of progressive early childhood education and to continually learn and grow in adapting the ideas of progressive education at the center.
17) Scheduling and documenting regular staff meetings.
18) Conducting written performance reviews and performance review conversations with all preschool classroom teachers at least annually.
19) Maintain personnel files and professional development records of preschool classroom early learning staff.
20) Supply Requisitions: Order equipment and supplies needed for the successful implementation of programs and to meet safety and accreditation standards.
21) Physical Environment: Work with teachers to incorporate the Reggio inspiration throughout the preschool classrooms.
22) Supervise the use of physical space so that classrooms, common areas, and playgrounds are clean and safe.
23) Provide an attractive and welcoming environment in which learning is made visible through children’s artwork or displays that promote a child’s self-esteem
