**Job Overview**:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Home Defect Inspector to join our team. As a Home Defect Inspector, you will play a critical role in evaluating the condition of residential properties, identifying defects, and providing comprehensive inspection reports. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to excellence will contribute to our clients' peace of mind and confidence in their real estate transactions.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough inspections of residential properties to identify defects, structural and architectural issues, safety concerns, and potential hazards.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment to assess the condition of various systems, including electrical, plumbing, structural, roofing, and more. Tools will be provided.
- Document and photograph defects, anomalies, and areas of concern during inspections.
- Create detailed and accurate inspection reports that outline findings, recommendations, report template will be provided.
- Communicate inspection results clearly and effectively to clients, answering any questions and addressing concerns they may have.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to home inspections.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent quality and adherence to company standards.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering/Architecture/Building or related courses.
- In-depth knowledge of residential construction, building codes, and safety standards.
- Familiarity with inspection tools and equipment, as well as the ability to use technology for reporting and communication.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Professional demeanor and strong customer service orientation.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Freelance

**Salary**: From RM2,500.00 per month
