JOBSCOPE:

- Analyzes engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly and welding operations.
- Cut, roll shape,bend,mould,spin,heat or hammer metal products to fabricate parts or sub assemblies.
- Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools, welding equipment or computer numerically controlled machines.
- Welds components in flat, vertical or overhead positions.
- Heats, forms and dresses metal parts, suing hand tools, torch or arc welding equipment.
- Removes rough spots from work piece, using portable grinder, hand file or scrapper.
- Observes tests on welded surfaces, such as hydrostatic, xray, and dimension tolerance to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications.
- Inspect grooves, angles or gap allowances using micrometer, caliper and precision measuring instrument.
- Ignites torch and adjust valves,amperage or voltage to obtain desired flame or arc.
- Develops templates and other work aids to hold and align parts.
- Any task assigned by management.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum 3G certificate on welding
- Min 1 years welding experience in related field
- Required skills : MIG and SMAW welding skills, TIG is added advantage
- Must have or acquire basic knowledge of steel and steel descriptions
- Must be punctual and attend work regularly

Working days : Monday to Saturday

Working Hours : 8.00am to 5.00pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
