An ITSM (IT Service Management) Consultant plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between a Zebra Services and its business objectives. This role involves a deep understanding of both the operational and strategic aspects of IT services, ensuring that IT frameworks and practices are aligned with the needs of the business.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead the design and implementation of comprehensive ITSM solutions that meet the strategic needs of our clients.
- Conduct thorough assessments of current IT processes and services, identifying areas for improvement and developing actionable strategies for enhancement.
- Work closely with client IT teams to deploy ITSM best practices, including incident management, problem management, change management, and service level management.
- Provide guidance on the adoption of ITSM frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, and SIAM, tailoring recommendations to the specific context of each client.
- Manage stakeholder relationships, effectively communicating ITSM concepts and strategies to both technical and executive audiences.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and developments in ITSM, continuously enhancing your own expertise and contributing to the firm’s knowledge base.
- Oversee project teams, ensuring the delivery of consultancy services within agreed timelines and budget.
- Evaluate the efficacy of implemented solutions, making adjustments as necessary to ensure continued alignment with client objectives
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL foundation, COBIT Foundation) is essential.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT service management consultancy or a related role.
- Strong foundation in project management and familiarity with agile methodologies.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to influence and engage diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering ITSM projects.
- Willingness to travel as necessary to meet client and project needs.
