**Position overview**:
Are you someone whose experienced and versatile in marketing and hungry to understand people, building awareness about how a product/service can satisfy their needs?

allnex would like to invite you to join our thriving Marketing team in Asia as a **Marketing Manager **and to be the key person in the **Asia Pacific **region to provide marketing leadership for in-region growth initiatives, core marketing, competitive intelligence and innovation process support activities. You will provide strategic planning, core marketing and innovation process management as it relate to corporate and regional objectives for **Construction and Infrastructure **segment. In this role, you work closely and take direction at times from business leadership team. As such, you operate within a matrix team structure and will have strong collaboration with global technical, sales, marketing, product management and manufacturing teams in order to be successful.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop Regional Strategic Growth Plan, focusing on **Infrastructure and Construction** market segments and customer levels.
- Define APAC marketing challenges, trend at Meta segment levels and supporting technology and innovation roadmap.
- Build up market network toward end users via e.g. conferences, trade shows, institutions, governmental agencies.
- Establish market segment knowledge with clear understanding all market segment and sub-segments, provide knowledge sharing to relevant teams.
- Provide valuation and business case of APAC innovation projects for Innovation centers.
- Manage launch of innovation projects together with innovation teams in the region.
- Drive new product development toward “Sustainability and Green technology”.
- Establish APAC market database and competitor landscape by bottom up & top down and analyst it by segment & technology at key customer level.
- Define and prioritize allnex’s field of play in APAC.
- Provide content to support internal & external communication with Marcom, Digital and across functional teams.
- Manage trade shows & conferences and seminars.

**Required skills and experience**:

- 5 years and above of business background preferably in a commercial role is required with experience in strategic marketing and/or business development.
- Experience in coatings and/or specialty chemicals industry is desired.
- Background in managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with international teams is a plus.
- Fluency in English language, and other language is a plus point.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills.
- Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity.
- Strong business acumen.
- Good problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent team player in multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry / Engineering educational background or related field.
