**Quality Control / QA Engineer**

QA/QMS Engineer ensures company products and processes meet established quality standards by identifying shortfalls, developing corrective measures, and implementing quality control systems. He or she will also contribute in developing the Quality strategy, policies, processes, standards and systems for the company and its supply chain to operate within.

**Key and Responsibilities**
- Assist in designing, developing and implementing best quality practices and processes for product development.
- Assist in establishing and implementing QC program and ensure all products follow specifications and meet customer’s specification.
- Design and develop forms and instruments for evaluating, assessing, reporting and documenting quality standards in products or services.
- Develop and initiate quality control plans, process flow charts and FMEA for all product related processes and ensure all needed QC check sheets are available for all products.
- Research, study, compile and prepare on quality control activities, processes and procedures.
- Assist QC engineer to handle customer complaints, correctly identify causes and initiate corrective action and provide feedback on the implementation and verification of the corrective measures to customers in a timely manner.
- Tabulate and document data related to products, process materials, its qualities and reliability.
- Develop strategies to evaluate precision and accuracy of analytical equipment, tests and measurements and production equipment.
- Train staff, technicians, operators on the quality aspects of quality control activities.
- Undertake assignments given by management from time to time.
- Assume junior role of quality management system; QMS (ISO 9001) for the company.
- Able to give cue to stop shipment and production when needed to correct any quality issue.

**QMS Engineer**
- Act as Quality Management Representative (QMR) and execute Internal Quality Audit (IQA) ensuring ISO9001 compliance.
- Establish and implement the control system for documents and quality of records ensuring accuracy, accessibility and compliance with ISO9001 standards.
- Maintain and update Quality documentation such as policies, procedures, forms, standard of procedure (SOP), drawings, product and process specifications, registrar of master list to the latest revision, track of records and the document accessibility.
- Propose the withdrawal and disposal of obsolete documents within the records of retention period.
- Control of documents creation including creation of forms, review, approval, distribution, retrieving, system of filing and archiving.
- Conduct regular evaluations of documents to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct thorough reviews, generate reports in ppt. and collaborate on non-conformance reports (NCR).

**Project development**
- Act as Project Team Leader assistant when new projects are awarded to the company.
- Ensure all product specifications are according to customer’s requirement.
- Frequently meeting and following up with customer’s QA Engineer and Engineering to ensure all processes and products are as per latest specification drawing and specifications.
- Assist in establishing APQP, SPTT and PSW documents as per customer’s requirements.
- Initiate a team consisting from other related departments to ensure the project development is moving forward according to the customer's schedule.
- Follow up all progress from every department and report to the Project Manager and to the customer's window person.

**Key Requirement**
- Degree in any Engineering/Mechanical/Automotive with 1-2 years of QA related working experience.
- Fresh graduates that are willing to accept challenges in the fast paced automotive industry are welcomed to apply. Training will be provided.
- Advantages for those with e experience in Project management, FMEA and ISO 9001.
- Familiar with any Quality Tools (5 Why’s, 4M, FMEA & CAR/SCAR problem solving).
- Proficient in verbal & written English & Bahasa Malaysia
- Strong interpersonal communication-good conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, ppt.) or equivalent apps to produce relevant reports.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
