Attain and accomplish COMPANY’s objective of safe, efficient and cost-effective operations by providing quality marine expertise and ensure continuous enforcement of the PETRONAS Technical Standard (PTS), Maritime policies, procedures and guidelines on proper control and utilization of the vessels by conducting onboard verification and assurance on HSE, Operational, Navigational, Maintenance and Efficiency as requested by clients.
Provide advice to Clients on adherence to national and international rules and regulations, guidelines and conventions pertaining to marine operations and requirement.
Perform all marine and marine related operations at marine base and offshore locations and to ensure they are conducted in a safe, efficient, consistent and professional manner.
Plan and coordinate marine vessel performance such as Dynamic Positioning (DP) assurance, campaign and investigation, fuel consumption monitoring, navigational and operational practices, liaison with vessel owner and master, safety program/equipment, safety meeting, etc.
Maintain record pertaining to marine activities conducted as instructed by Clients.
Provide technical advice and evaluation of spot charter requirement of vessel for offshore activities.
Ensure all shortcomings observed during roving or assurance survey have been completely rectified prior to on-hire.
Provide consultancy and track marine logistics services performance through effective monitoring of fuel consumption and analysing Offshore Support Vessel (OSV)/Contractor operational performance.
Implement Business Improvement Initiative for Marine operation that can improved productivity and the efficiency for marine operation.
Assist in developing and studying of vessel voyage and consumption monitoring system.
Attend and present to Clients based on activities or projects conducted.
Execute any additional tasks on marine related matters but not limited to the above as required by Clients.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Possess Certificate of Competency (COC) Class 1 either as a Master Mariner or Chief Engineer.
Having at least minimum sea time at senior officer position of not less than 24 months (2 years) on tanker or offshore support vessels.
For the Marine Surveyor, having DPM or DPO certificate.
For the Marine Consultant, past experience or exposure as a marine consultant, marine warranty surveyor or marine risk assessment is an advantage.
