**Job Summary**:
The storekeeper is in charge of managing and supervising the storage, issuance, and procurement of materials and supplies within the plant. This role is essential in maintaining an organized and efficient inventory system to support the plant's operational needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain accurate records of all materials, tools, and supplies in the plant.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure alignment with recorded stock levels.
- Implement inventory control measures to prevent loss, damage, or theft.
- Arrange materials in a systematic manner to facilitate easy retrieval and efficient space utilization.
- Implement proper storage techniques to prevent damage and deterioration.
- Enforce safety standards for the handling and storage of hazardous materials.
- Work closely with various departments to understand material requirements.
- Communicate effectively with maintenance, operations, and other relevant teams.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of inventory transactions.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, consumption, and procurement activities.
- Provide regular updates to management on inventory status and potential issues.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when handling materials, especially those of a hazardous nature.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in the storage and handling of materials.

**Qualifications**:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and additional education or certification in inventory management is preferred.

Experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting, is required.

Knowledge of inventory management software and systems.

Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Detail-oriented and meticulous record-keeping.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
