**Responsibilities**

Warehouse managers work in warehouses where they supervise the receipt, dispatching, and storage of goods. Warehouse managers manage warehouse staff, vehicles, and other equipment, and oversee security, sanitation, and administrative functions.

Full responsibility for the management of day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure the achievement of business objectives and the highest level of Customer Service whilst maintaining the highest standards for Safety, Quality, Housekeeping and Cost.

**Essential Duties**

**1. Overall Warehouse Management**
- Responsible for team objectives and joint managerial responsibility such as planning, optimization steering and controlling of process and duties.
- Be the escalation point for all the warehouse issues from all assigned sites.
- Develops and coaches team members.
- Overall resource planning and management for warehouse operations
- Provides regular key information reports for warehouse and site operations to management.
- Ensure collection, storage and delivery of customer product is performed in a cost efficient and speedy manner in addition to ensuring safe passage
- Plan and coordinate cross functionally with all work groups (Customer Service, Finance, Compliance & Planning) and oversee the efficiency of overall warehouse operations.
- Hold operations meetings, briefings to resolve on-site operations issues, provide directions and resolutions to warehouse team for implementations. Manage daily execution of operations activities.
- Liaise with customers on a daily basis with a professional personal approach, to ensure that service levels fulfill or exceed expectations, thereby developing & enhancing long lasting and rewarding.
- Ensuring the operation adheres to applicable laws, audits, and regulations
- Foster a success-oriented, compliant, and accountable environment within the organization.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

**2. Oversee Warehouse & Other Supply Chain Related Activities**
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the warehouse operation to ensure it functions within budgetary constraints whilst meeting both safety, quality and productivity targets.
- Monitor and plan all warehouse and site work progress : Handling IN / OUT, tally, weighing, stuffing, unstuffing, rework and other warehouse activities by optimizing available and backup resources to achieve targeted timeline and results. Plan executions to ensure targeted ETC are met.

**3. Facilities and Infrastructure Management**
- Ensure proper and prompt upkeep and maintenance by the warehouse operators of all warehouse facilities, MHE and security/safety equipment or devices.
- Facility housekeeping, appropriate signage, internal and external visual appearance
- To maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities, good working condition of equipment including IT systems and the entire warehouse premises.

**4. Safety and Security Management**
- Establish and maintain an emergency response process.
- Establish and develop Safety and Security SOP for all warehouse sites.

**5. Cost and Vendor Management**
- Identify, initiate and implement measures to optimize the warehouse and space utilization.
- Monitor and ensuring the deployment of staffs are within the budget.
- Ensuring contractor’s overtime are monitored with proper approval.

**6. Operations Analysis & Process Improvement**
- Analytically review the operations performances with facts, graph and statistics and to improve through process improvements, corrective and preventive actions.
- To formulate and implement KPIs, processes, policies and procedures that contributes to the over-all efficiency and productivity of the company.

**7. Compliance & Audit**
- Inventory control by maintaining stocks accuracy at and ensuring stocks are reconciled for discrepancies.
- Work with Inventory Control Team on cargo bayplans, stock count or cycle count and warehouse rectifications exercises.

**8. Resource & Equipment Management**
- Ensuring resources are well planned and adhering to the Malaysian employment legislation.
- Monitor and ensuring contractors deploying sufficient resources and equipment to ensure smooth operations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From RM5,500.00 per month
