Lighting Supervisor

1. Collaborate with the director, art director, and other key members of the production team to understand the visual style, mood, and technical requirements of the animation series. 2. Develop and execute the lighting design for each episode, ensuring consistency and adherence to the established visual style. 3. Create lighting setups and render settings using 3D software to achieve the desired look and feel of each scene. 4. Work closely with the modeling and texturing teams to ensure that the lighting complements the overall aesthetics of the characters, environments, and props. 5. Provide guidance and artistic direction to the lighting team, including lighting artists and compositors, to achieve the desired lighting effects and maintain the visual continuity of the series. 6. Collaborate with the technical team to optimize rendering workflows and address any technical challenges related to lighting and rendering. 7. Conduct regular reviews and provide feedback to the lighting team, ensuring that the lighting quality and consistency meet the production standards. 8. Troubleshoot and resolve any lighting-related issues, such as artifacts, flickering, or excessive render times, by analyzing render logs and working with the technical team. 9. Stay updated with the latest lighting techniques, software, and industry trends to continuously improve the quality and efficiency of the lighting pipeline. 10. Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality control, ensuring that lighting inconsistencies or errors are identified and addressed.
