**Responsibilities of a Shutdown Planner or Turnaround Planner.**
- Prepare short and long-term maintenance schedules for shutdowns: This involves creating schedules that outline the planned maintenance activities for both the short and long term, considering factors such as equipment availability and operational requirements.
- Monitor completion of work and forecast activities during shutdowns: Keep track of the progress of maintenance activities during shutdowns and make predictions about the remaining work and potential issues that may arise.
- Define shutdown work scope in collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering departments: Work closely with various departments to identify the specific maintenance, inspection, recertification, repair, overhaul, and modification tasks that need to be included in the shutdown work scope.
- Prepare detailed work packages: Develop detailed documentation, known as work packages, which contain all the necessary information, instructions, and materials required to execute specific jobs during the shutdown.
- Define maintenance activities and manpower/logistic requirements: Determine the specific maintenance activities to be performed during the shutdown, including the necessary manpower and logístical resources needed to carry out the tasks effectively.
- Coordinate between divisions, sections, and disciplines: Ensure smooth execution of the shutdown by facilitating coordination and communication between different departments, sections, and disciplines involved in the overhaul process.
- Prepare comprehensive shutdown reports: Create detailed reports summarizing the shutdown activities, including an evaluation of the work completed and any recommendations or lessons learned for future reference.
- Coordinate with other Turnaround and Shutdown Planners: Collaborate with other planners involved in turnaround and shutdown projects to ensure proper planning and scheduling of all work orders within the scope of the shutdowns.
- Provide scheduling and progress reports during execution: Keep all levels of the organization informed about the scheduling and progress of the turnaround or shutdown activities, providing regular reports on the status of the work.
- Integrate post-turnaround/shutdown planning report: Ensure that all the executed work orders are accurately documented and incorporated into the post-turnaround or shutdown planning report, which serves as a reference for future maintenance activities.

These responsibilities collectively aim to optimize the maintenance and inspection activities carried out during shutdowns, minimize downtime, and maximize the efficiency of the overall operation.

**Minimum 5 years Experience**

**Must have Primavera P6 Experience**

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend jobs

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
