**Job Description**:

- Responsibilities:
1. Assist in coordinating the transportation of goods between suppliers, warehouses, distribution centers, and customers. This involves liaising with various stakeholders, including carriers, freight forwarders, and internal teams, to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
2. Help in optimizing transportation routes to minimize costs, reduce transit times, and improve overall efficiency. This may include utilizing transportation management software and analyzing data to make informed decisions.
3. Monitor and track shipments in real-time to ensure they are on schedule and identify any potential delays or issues. Communicate proactively with relevant parties to provide updates and resolve any transportation-related problems.
4. Assist in preparing and maintaining transportation-related documents, such as bills of lading, customs documentation, and shipping manifests, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
5. Support the logistics team in analyzing transportation performance metrics, such as on-time delivery, transportation costs, and carrier performance. Help identify areas for improvement and contribute to data-driven decision-making.
6. Gain exposure to inventory control processes, understanding how transportation impacts inventory levels, and assisting in optimizing inventory flows.
7. Contribute to various logistics and transportation projects as assigned, providing research, data analysis, and other support to aid in project success.
**Requirements**:
1. Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Transportation and Logistic, or a related field.
2. Strong analytical skills and the ability to gather, interpret, and present data effectively.
3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, displaying a proactive and self-motivated approach.
6. Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.
7. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability to a dynamic work environment.
8. A proactive and self-motivated individual with a strong desire to learn and contribute to the business.
