Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist in the procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Support the creation and issuance of purchase orders and contracts.
- Assist in conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and products/services.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and specifications for procurement needs.
- Assist in evaluating supplier proposals and conducting supplier performance evaluations.
- Support the maintenance of procurement records and documentation.
- Assist in tracking procurement activities and monitoring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the identification and implementation of cost-saving initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Knowledge of procurement principles and practices is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new concepts and processes.
**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 5 months
Pay: RM800.00 - RM1,200.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Education**:
- Bachelor's (preferred)
