As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our retail store. You will be responsible for overseeing daily store activities, managing a team of employees, and ensuring exceptional customer service. Your leadership and organizational skills will contribute to the overall success of the store.
- Supervise and lead a team of retail associates, ensuring they are motivated, well-trained, and equipped to provide outstanding customer service.
- Assign tasks, set performance targets, and conduct regular performance evaluations for store staff.
- Address any staff issues or conflicts in a professional and effective manner.
- Maintain a high standard of customer service by setting an example for the team.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a prompt and satisfactory manner.
- Train staff on effective customer service techniques and policies.
- Oversee inventory control procedures, including receiving, stocking, and managing stock levels.
- Ensure that merchandise is displayed attractively and in an organized manner to optimize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor product expiration dates and handle restocking and replenishment as needed.
- Drive sales by providing guidance and support to staff on product knowledge, upselling, and cross-selling.
- Analyze sales data and trends to develop strategies for maximizing revenue and profitability.
- Implement pricing and promotional strategies in alignment with company guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment by enforcing company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with security measures and loss prevention methods to prevent theft or shrinkage.
- Manage cash handling procedures and ensure accurate and secure cash management.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and employee performance to upper management.
- Maintain records of employee schedules, attendance, and work hours.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in business or related field is a plus).
- Proven experience in a retail environment, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of retail sales and customer service best practices.
- Proficiency in inventory management and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (both verbally and written) skills.
- Hardworking, independent, highly motivated, team player, punctual.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and remain focused and organised.

**ABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY**

**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- On call
- Weekend jobs

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Kampung Baru Subang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
