**ROLE SUMMARY**:
The assistant finance manager role is a key role focused on supporting our mission. As the Assistant Finance Manager you will report directly to the CFO and assist him on the overall strategy, fundraising and investor relations.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**In this role you will**:

- Assisting to formulate fundraising strategy, go-to-market pricing strategy and various initiatives that require finance inputs.
- Perform project-level margin analysis and provide recommendations.
- Prepare project-level and company-level budget and the subsequent monitoring and reporting.
- Preparation, monitor, and perform financial analysis and expenditure of the company.
- Timely and accurate monthly and annual financial and management reporting.
- Effectively and efficiently work with bankers and all other relevant parties.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring optimum cash level.
- Formulate and enforce continuous improvement on financial and operations internal controls, policies, and procedures.
- Manage and communicate investors’ ad-hoc information requests.
- Supervise team accounting professionals.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic financial guidance and participating in decision-making forums
- Verify the accuracy and integrity of financial data by overseeing the recording, classification, and reconciliation of all financial transactions.
- Establish and maintain accounting standards and procedures to ensure consistent and accurate financial reporting across the organization.
- Conduct regular reviews of general ledger accounts, sub-ledgers, and financial statements to identify discrepancies and address errors promptly.
- Implement controls and measures to prevent fraud, errors, and misstatements in financial records, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the month-end and year-end closing process, overseeing the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules within established timelines.
- Develop and deliver training programs for finance and accounting staff to enhance their understanding of accounting principles and best practices in financial recording and reporting.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors during financial audits, facilitating the audit process and addressing inquiries to ensure accurate and timely completion.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**To be shortlisted for this position, you will need to have**:

- At least 3 years of accounting and finance related working experience.
- Preferably with prior experience working with Big-4 accounting firms.
- Strong priority management skills.
- Ability to be innovative and outperform on all tasks and responsibilities.
- Positive attitude, hardworking, trustworthy, and matured, and able to maintain confidentiality at all times. Protect the company’s information and interest at all times.
- Committed to do whatever it takes, including working long hours to deliver results.
- Have good leadership qualities coupled with leadership skills.
- Maintain high standards of integrity, credibility, and ethics.
- Ability to work independently and yet be a team player.
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Analytical, problem solver, and multitasker - with the ability to do highly unstructured work.
- Ensure that KPI and all tasks assigned and deliverables are completed as per the timeline; or earlier.
- Collaboration work with teams of all levels.
- Detail-oriented and analytical.

**Salary**: RM2,933.78 - RM6,000.00 per month
