**Responsibilities**:

- To assist in effective planning and for policy administration pertaining to the daily operations of the Group Procurement Department as well as to ensure cost-effective products and services are provided to the organization with consistent quality and acceptable delivery levels.
- To assist in ensuring all the purchasing processes and activities are in compliance with the Procurement Procedure and Policy.
- Initiate cost reduction in Tender Exercise for all supplies and services while meeting the Group’s guideline & quality specification.
- To source, select and negotiate for the best purchase package in terms of quality, price, terms, deliveries and services with suppliers. Working towards achieving department cost saving goal.
- To assist in market Intelligence gathering (products, vendors, pricing) by seeking out specific information related to product, vendors & pricing.
- Accountable for the timely execution of all tender exercises and execution of contracts inclusive of reviewing contracts.
- To assist in guiding the Team as and when required in order ensuring sourcing activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Maintaining good working relationship with suppliers & internal customers at all levels in order to monitor suppliers’ performance and meet the Group’s requirement.
- Accountable for the quality of suppliers in Approved Supplier List by identifying viable vendors based on predetermined Group Procurement Department vendor qualification criteria as well as accountable for fair evaluation and the ultimate decision of supplier selection.
- Any and all other duties as and when assigned from time to time by the superior/Management.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or equivalent.
- At least 6 years working experience in related field.
- Good in Microsoft Excel, e-procurement system, negotiation skill and problem solving skill.
- Possess sound knowledge and experience in able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills, excellent client, facing skills, ability to motivate team to meet tight deadline
- Ability to have strong impact and influence by decisions.

**Salary**: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
