Qc Supervisor

**Responsibilities**

**A. QC Output**

1. Determining inspection protocols, defining sampling procedures, and determining equipment and mechanisms to be used in the inspection process.

2. Organizing and monitoring tasks with the available manpower and QC measuring tools to achieve Output targets.

3. Resolve drawing problems and customer specifications with technical knowledge.

4. Assist QA in customer complaint investigation by identifying the root cause and providing recommended actions.

5. Ensure the operation of QC tools is always in good condition and calibrated.

6. Confers with customer representatives to resolve customer complaints.

7. Work with a variety of departments such as engineers, production planners, and designers to test and assess the quality of product output.

8. Responsible to manage and control of the Measuring and Testing Equipment recall exercise.

9. Ascertain all inspections are performed on all completed work and that proper inspection records, reports, and forms are properly executed prior to the release of the parts.

**B. Supervision of Subordinate**

1. Coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.

2. Communicating delivery schedule/deadline and assigning personnel.

3. Assign work to QC personnel and oversee schedules under the guidance of the Quality Manager

**C*. **Quality Management System*

1. Initiating, coordinating, and enforcing QMS policies and procedures.

2. Minimize output rejects

3. Review the completeness, accuracy, and validity of all the entries made in the work
package.

4. Control and maintain the quality records and the work packages. All the documentation and records shall be remained legible and shall be stored and retained in such a way that they are readily retrievable. The retention requirements are defined in the Quality procedures

**D*. **In-process Quality Inspection*

1. Responsible for leading day-to-day Quality Control in production ensuring that production quality metrics are met

2. Perform inspection at various stages during the machining process to prevent in-process part rejection.

- External Quality Reject (Escapes)
- Customer Complaint
- Internal Manufacturing Operation Rejects
- Manufacturing Operation Output Efficiency

**Direct Report Manager**
- Quality Manager

**Requirement**
- Leadership Skills.
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical & Manufacturing major).
- Understanding of technical drawings.
- Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerance Knowledge.
- CNC machine concept knowledge.
- Computer literate.
- CMM Programming knowledge. PC-DMIS is preferred.
- Self-motivated and hardworking.
- Neat, organized, and systematic.
- Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Able to work independently as well as be a team player with a strong commitment to department harmony.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet the demands of the job.

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
