Job Descriptions - Prepare and submit project progress claims, conduct site valuations, prepare variation order claims, EOT claims and any contractual claims including final accounts within specific timeline. - Assist to verify progress claims, variation order claims, EOT claims and any contractual claims made by the subcontractors and suppliers including prepare payment certificates to subcontractor and suppliers. - Attending employer and consultants meeting, main contractor site meeting with regards to the project matters. - To work closely with project team in administering contractual claims such as variation orders, extension of time, loss expenses, etc. - Assist to resolve any outstanding claims issues on Variation Orders and Final Accounts. - Prepare construction budget, maintain accurate work progress and assist in budgetary control. - To assist in preparation of tender document for submission i.e., pricing, taking-off, cost analysis and compilation of tender document. - To assist in preparation of sub-contract tender document, evaluation report and Letter of Award to successful sub-contractors. - Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with consultants, construction team and subcontractors on all contract related matters. - BQ and quotation for the project. - Source more quality Subcon and suppliers. - Update supplier and Subcon's latest costing. - Site visit and update project progress for each project. - Coordinate and liaise with suppliers or Subcon for pricing samples, etc. - Ability to source for supplies and quotation for tendering. - Evaluation of price comparison and costing summary. - Taking off quantities for tender & prepare progress claim. - To assist in tender documentation/cost tabulation. - Prepare tender and contract documentation including collection and checking for completeness of documents. - To undertake any other duties as assigned from time to time by immediate superior. Job Requirement - 3-4 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position. - Degree in Quantity Surveyor or its equivalent. - Has good negotiation skills, revised cost & quotation if/when required. - Computer literate with proficient in major Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Excel and other software. - Has basis knowledge of contractual matters. - Willing to travel and possess own transport.
