**Tellers play an important role in the Branch as they are the first person to meet customer. Teller need to be very courteous with all the customers to ensure that get the business and treat customers fairly. Teller must comply with BNM and KLR’s requirements duties and responsibilities of Branch Teller.**
- Welcome and greet all customers who come to the Branch.
- Attend to any enquiry by a customer with a smile and answer all the enquires respectfully. If you have doubts, refer to the Chief Teller for assistance.
- Be familiar with the Company’s business operating system, CASMEX.
- Do not share your operating system user id and passwords with anyone.
- To comply with the system requirements regarding anti
- money laundering (AML) and customer due diligence (CDD) where key steps have been incorporated in the CASMEX system.
- Ensure that banknotes received or paid to customers are in order before the customer leave from your counter.
- Ensure that all banknotes accepted from the customers must be counted in the counterfeit detecting machines to check the genuinity of the currency.
- Ensure that only genuine banknotes are sold or received.
- Issue the company’s official receipts for all the transactions performed at the branch.
- All remittance transaction receipts are signed by customer and teller.
- All forex transactions equal and above RM 3000 must be filed.
- Supporting documents must be collected from customers for remittance and forex transactions as per KLR AML/CFT and Compliance guidelines.
- Be alert of any suspicious transactions and unusual requests by customers and refer to the Branch Compliance Officer. When suspicious, prepare and submit Internal Alert Report /Suspicious Transaction Report to Compliance Division.
- Refer to the Chief Teller in the event are situations which you may find difficult to manage or respond.
- Any other duties as assigned by te Management / Chief Teller.

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
