**Responsibilities** **(on-job training provided)**:

- To ensure compliance with the Federal and state laws and the hospital’s
regulations.
- Prepare, label, and dispense medication for patients in accordance with doctors & prescriptions.
- To maintain appropriate records of dispensing.
- To ensure proper documentation and record keeping is done for all medications with particular attention to controlled substances.
- To counsel and advise customers on the treatment of minor ailments.
- To advise patients of any adverse side effects or potential interactions with other
medicines.
- To assist the Pharmacist/appointed personnel in inventory control, purchasing,
stock return, and stock take.
- To perform inventory data entry from ordering, receiving, sales, and return to stock take.
- To supply medication to other departments as approved by the pharmacist.
- To perform and maintain a record of stock transfers.
- To perform stock disposal upon approval by the pharmacist.
- To relieve the other employees on a lunch break or when on leave.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the Management from time

**Requirements**:

- Minimum SPM/Diploma in any discipline, preferably in Pharmacy
- Experience in a Hospital would be an added advantage.
- Computer literacy
- Possess good interpersonal and able to communicate with all levels of people
- Proficient in both spoken and written ENGLISH
- Pleasant and friendly personality, customer-oriented attributes, and high level of initiative
- Able to work independently, resourceful and results-oriented.
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
