**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Surveillance and Monitoring**:
Conduct regular patrols of the building premises to identify and address security risks.
Monitor surveillance cameras to detect and respond to suspicious activities.
Report any security breaches, unauthorized persons, or safety hazards.

**Access Control**:
Control access to the building, ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
Verify identification of visitors and issue visitor passes.
Enforce access control policies and procedures.

**Emergency Response**:
Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents within the building.
Take appropriate actions during fire alarms, security breaches, or medical emergencies.
Coordinate with emergency services when necessary.

**Communication**:
Maintain effective communication with other security personnel, building management, and relevant stakeholders.
Use two-way radios or other communication devices to report incidents and receive instructions.

**Customer Service**:
Provide assistance and directions to building occupants and visitors.
Ensure a positive and professional interaction with the public.
Address inquiries and concerns in a courteous manner.

**Incident Reporting**:
Prepare detailed incident reports, documenting any security-related occurrences.
Report incidents to the appropriate authorities and building management as required.

**Equipment and Facility Checks**:
Regularly inspect and test security equipment, including cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
Report any malfunctioning equipment and coordinate repairs.

**Collaboration**:
Work collaboratively with other security personnel to maintain a cohesive and effective security team.
Attend regular meetings and training sessions to stay informed on security protocols.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum SPM and equivalent
- Previous experience in security guard
- Strong observational and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in emergency situations.
- Physically fit and capable of performing security duties.
