**About The Role**

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Podcast & Digital Events Intern to join our team and assist in managing the online logistics of our podcasts and digital tasks. As a Podcast & Digital Events Intern, you will play a key role in coordinating and executing various digital content initiatives to engage our audience and promote our organisation's mission.

**Position**: Podcast & Digital Events Intern

**Working Hours**: 3 hours/day, Monday to Friday

**Location**: Fully Remote (Flexible Time)

**Stipend**:RM400/month, starting on month 4 onwards depending on performance.

**Opportunity for employment**: Based on your performance, you may be offered a part time/full time role after your internship period.

**Requirements**:

- **Currently starting/in your final year of university**:

- **Communication Skills**: Ability to speak and write in English well.
- **Interested in Digital Matters**: Interest in podcasting, digital media, and online event management.
- **Video & Audio Editing Skills**: Proficiency in audio editing software, and is able to recommend accurate platforms for the organisation to use.
- **Digitally Adept**: Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn new digital tools and platforms for content creation, distribution, and analytics.
- **Work Ethics**: Self-motivated, able to work independently, organised, productive and has excellent time management.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Podcast Management**: Lead the planning of the podcast by identifying potential parties to invite to the Podcast.
- This Podcast will cover 2 groups:

- Our very own National Debate Team / Alumni and Family Members
- Successful World Schools Debating Championships participants from the recent past
- **Digital Event Management**: Lead the planning of our Digital Events such as Future Conversations, by identifying potential speakers to invite, coordinate with them and secure their availability.
- **Editing Skills**: Manage the technical aspects of podcast and digital event production, including audio recording, editing, and post-production tasks to ensure high-quality content delivery.
- **External Communication**: Coordinate with guests, hosts, and other team members to ensure smooth execution of podcast recordings and digital events.
- **Analytics**: Monitor podcast and digital event performance metrics, analyse audience engagement, and provide insights to optimise future content and initiatives.
- **Internal Team Communication**:Attend check-in meetings approximately 2-3 times per week

- Must have a smartphone
- Must have a laptop
- Must have a pair earphones
- Must have a microphone that can connect to your smartphone/camera or laptop

**Interview Process and Timeline**:

- Step 1: Online Application (16th February - 20th February 2024)
- Step 2: Interview 1 (20th February - 23rd February 2024)
- This is where we get to know you, and this is where we tell you the projects we are working on.
- If you are shortlisted, we will reach you to request for a work sample submission (Step 3).
- Step 3: Work Sample Submission (24th February - 25th February 2024)
- You will be paid for this work.
- If we like your sample, you will be called for the final interview.
- Step 4: Final Interview (26th February - 1st March 2024)
- This interview will focus on your ideas and plans in relation to our future projects.
- Step 5: Starting Date: 4th March 2024.
