Student Aide

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and assist a student in after-school activities.
- Supervise student completion of daily homework.
- Encourage the development of necessary good social skills and increase independence.
- Create opportunities for skills learned to build upon and used in different situations.
- Provide general administrative or technical support to the school.
- Able to identify the behavioral problem and determine the right course of action.
- Provide emotional support to the student.
- Ensure the student's safety and well-being are taken care of at all times.
- Liaise with the parent, teacher, and counselor to provide feedback on the student's behavior and learning progress.
- Develop and maintain good relationships and communication with parents in meeting students' needs.
- Help student develops basic life skills, and live independently.
- Ensure accurate progress records and assessment reports.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology or other relevant fields.
- Preferably with 1:1 caregiving experience.
- Overall high proficiency in English and Mandarin, including **reading, writing, and speaking to interact well with students and parents.**:

- Possess good emotional intelligence, able to socialize and work well with people at all levels.
- Possess good communication skills, preferably to explain complex day-to-day phenomena simply to a special needs student.
- Self-motivated, and able to work professionally with mínimal supervision.
- A team player, meticulous to details, and strong organizational skills.
- Flexible to work on weekends & Public holidays.
