The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing the compliance with regulatory and internal standards, identify areas of risk, and provide recommendations to improve compliance and operational efficiency.
- This position also plays a key role in developing audit strategies, leading audit teams, and communicating audit findings to senior management, and the Leadership Team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Properly analyze and present relevant, important and timely information, stats, and trends which will prevent theft or loss of royalty income to the business
- Conduct internal audits to assess the effectiveness of controls and compliance with applicable laws and regulations and internal standards.
- Identify areas of risk and recommend improvements in internal controls, processes, and procedures.
- Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and corrective actions to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations and monitor their progress.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations, industry best practices and International standards
- Work with local teams as needed to gather information. Leverage cameras, point of sale system, investigations, and interviews in order to create a case. Present the findings. Properly document all activities, and communicate results and finding using professional methods of reporting.
- Be thoroughly familiar with norms and trends in each of our markets in order to spot suspicious behaviour and activity.
- Conduct reporting audits to check for suspicious or inappropriate cash and order handling.

The requirements for the position are:

- Experience in leading LP investigations, actively using physical security systems, advising on security risks, developing security risk mitigation plans, leading incident response
- Experience in exception based reporting
- Can draft clearly written memos, investigation summaries, and other communications using proper grammar, correct formatting to a professional standard
- Proficiency in using auditing software, data analysis tools (ie: BI), and MS Office Suite. Must be able to use excel to present and sort data into meaningful information
- Franchise relationship management experience
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Some experience dealing with financial analysis would be preferred.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- High level of integrity and ethical standards.

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Loss Prevention: 1 year (preferred)
- Food Industry: 1 year (preferred)
- Exception based Reporting: 1 year (required)
