Hse Lead

Monitor in-house project team and external contractors’ compliance towards Safety and Health requirements and advise Sections HSE team on HSE requirements for safe progress at construction site.
- Advise Top Management on Safety and Health technical and compliance issues and directly responsible for managing the safety and risk for all construction work for project sites.
- Liaise with local Authority team (DOSH, DOE, and CIDB) to maintain company HSE standard and requirement.
- Visit active project sites to assess ongoing work conditions to ensure compliance.
- Plan and implement programs to train SHO/ SSS and employees in work site safety practices, safe equipment operating techniques.
- Liaise with the Head of Project Team regarding external safety and health management system compliance audits by the authority.
- Help the construction project team remain focused on completing projects in a safe manner.
- To prepare Occupational Safety and Health Officer Report in a timely manner as per requirements.
- Developing Hazard Risk Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control (HIRARC) Accordance to Guidelines for Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, Risk Control By DOSH.
- Develop suitable Occupational, Safety and Health (“OSH”) management system for the Company and monitor the implementation of the OHS management system at all sections.
- Monitor, review and present the performance of the OSH management system to the Top Management.
- Conducts safety audits both internal and external. Takes part in accident / incident investigation. Carries out analysis of accident / incident statistics, identifying trends and suggesting improvement plans.
- Manage and monitor the closure of all identified corrective and preventive measures associated with non-conformance reports arising from management system audits.
- To participate in the monthly meeting on relevant OSH matters at construction projects and company level.
- Undertake crisis management duties as required etc. Covid-19 issue.

**Job Requirements**:

- At least 10 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position, preferred those with housing project experiences.
- Registered SHO with DOSH.
- Must be familiar with DOSH, DOE, and CIDB rules, regulations and requirements.
- Must be familiar with OSHA 1994, FMA 1967 regulations and requirements.
- Ability to train, influence and motivate team members (SHO/SSS).
- Strong organisational or administrative skills with attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- Willing to travel to the project sites.

Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
