making up sets of sample designs
- working out design formulae for a group of samples
- working independently if self-employed, or liaising closely with colleagues as part of a small team
- using specialist software and computer-aided design (CAD) programs to develop a range of designs eg; AI, PSD & etc
- maintaining up-to-date knowledge of new design and production techniques and têxtile technology - developing new design concepts
- ensuring that projects are completed on time
- keeping up to date and spotting fashion trends in fabric design by reading forecasts in trade magazines and using internet resources
- Generate ideas, conceptualize and create new artwork through digital illustration for the founders/big brands in Malaysia.
- Have an eye for colors, textures and patterns
- Expressive, creative mind and passionate about art
- Maintain up to date knowledge of new designs and fashion trends - Work closely with other designers
- Pleasant personality and excellent communication skills to explain idea and concepts
- Highly passionate in art and a fashion enthusiast

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
