Bakery Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and passionate baker to join our team as a Ten Homemade Cakes Baker. Assistant, you will be responsible for creating a variety of delicious homemade cakes to meet the demands of our customers. Responsibilities: 1. Cake Preparation: Prepare cake batters, fillings, and frostings according to recipes and customer orders. Ensure consistency in taste and quality of cakes. 2. Cake Decoration: Decorate cakes using various techniques, such as piping, fondant work, and creative designs. Ensure that cakes are visually appealing and meet customer specifications. 3. Menu Development: Encourage to contribute on the development of our cake by suggesting new flavors, designs, and seasonal options to attract customers and increase sales. 4. Order Knowledge: Receive and review customer orders, ensuring accuracy in cake sizes, flavors, and special requests. Prioritize and organize orders to meet deadlines. 6. Inventory Management: Helping to monitor and inform on inventory of baking ingredients to the owner. 7. Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that cakes meet our high standards of taste, texture, and presentation. Make adjustments and improvements as needed from customer responses. 8. Creativity and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with current trends in cake baking and design. Continuously expand your baking skills and knowledge to bring new ideas and techniques to the team. Requirements: - Strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment. - Ability to follow recipes accurately and produce consistent results. - Creative flair and a keen eye for detail in cake decoration. - Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple orders. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - Flexibility to work environment
