Qualification in Economics
- To teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Ecomonics delivered by the Department and, as required, to teach on associated programmes offered by the university
- To supervise student projects and assist them in understanding assignment requirements **Design and execute formative and summative assessment including marking that is aligned with student learning outcomes** Provide feedback to students on their learning through student consultations
- Conduct research in areas as per discussion with Dean/Head of Department **Publish papers and present papers at local and international conferences**:

- Other duties within the Department and University as required REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 5 years teaching experience in a tertiary environment is preferred for this position
- Record of successful supervision of postgraduate research students will be an added advantage
- Evidence of outstanding record of research publications in highly referred international journal publishers
- Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with students and staff from a diverse range of backgrounds
- Excellent command of spoken and written EnglishSPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- Able to undertake duties at different premises including any University campus as required
- Expected to work outside of normal office hours as required
- Academic staff are expected to engage in activities associated with promotion, marketing and counsel prospective students at education fairs
