**_Position Overview:_**

This individual will be reporting to Finance Director supporting the company through general accounting and finance responsibilities as well as full participation in the month-end close processes. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, financial reporting accountability and other special projects as assigned.

**_ Job Description:_**
- Prepare monthly consolidation, review consolidation schedules, conduct flux analysis and explain variances on a timely basis to management and shareholders
- Ensure Group's revenues, expenditures, assets and liabilities are reported with accuracy and completeness
- Maintenance and control over chart of accounts and posting period
- Own the reconciliation of intercompany balances and transactions between group entities (within ADA group and Axiata Opcos), review monthly intercompany reconciliations, and work with local finance teams to resolve discrepancies
- Be the main point of contact for group auditors
- Oversee all audits and coordinate the satisfactory resolution of queries so audits are completed on time. This also includes working closely with local finance teams to ensure they are audit ready, and providing support as required during audits
- Lead efforts to address key audit findings and implement auditors’ recommendations across all subsidiaries
- Maintain Group-wide accounting policies and standard operating procedures
- Review, propose and implement improvements to internal controls
- Coordinate and review the financial data in the Board Audit Committee deck.
- Prepare related Board/Audit Committee papers where necessary.
- Lead and oversee Thailand, Philippines and Bangladesh finance teams
- Review and approve payments for group entities
- Support on corporate tax planning
- Banking support including performing bank administrator tasks as required
- Ad hoc projects such as system implementation, due diligence, merger and acquisition, purchase price allocation, etc.

**_Job Requirements:_**
- Degree in Accounting, ACCA, CPA, or other relevant Professional qualification. Qualified / Certified Accountant is a preferred
- Well-versed in IFRS
- At least 5 years’ experience in similar role. Consolidation experience is a must.
- Experience from digital advertising/e-commerce sector would be an advantage
- Having experience in dealing with oversea entities is advantageous
- Knowledge in using Microsoft D365 would have an advantage.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English
- Good team player with interpersonal communication skill
- Proactive, independent, and able to multi-tasks in meeting deadlines
- Professionalism: Enthusiastic about the accounting profession; willingness and ability to put in additional effort during certain periods to meet deadlines (e.g. month-end/year-end close).
