Boilerman

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness of the workplace at all times. - Perform timely maintenance works on boilers, air compressors, thermal oil heaters, and raw water treatment plants. - Ensure tanker drivers follow procedures strictly when unloading fuel oil and diesel, and ensure correct storage tank allocation. - Perform routine checks and hourly logging of equipment and instrument operation. - Send water samples to the laboratory daily for analysis, perform chemical dosing, and ensure boiler water is treated to the required standards. - Perform chemical make-up, backwashing, and regeneration of raw water treatment plant. - Follow and adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOP) at all times. - Ensure the operation of utilities comply with governmental rules and regulations. - Be a voluntary member of the firefighting or first aid team. - Comply with the Occupational Safety & Health Act 1994 and Regulations, Environmental Quality Act 1974, Factory & Machinery Act 1967, and Responsible Care. - Ensure compliance with the Steam Boiler & Unfired Pressure Vessel Regulation 1970. - Comply with all quality standards and requirements imposed by the Company and product specifications required by local and international clients. - Perform any other duties assigned from time to time. JOB SUCCESS REQUIREMENTS - Minimum SPM qualification, along with a Second Grade Boilerman Certificate. - Minimum of 1-year related working experience. - Experience in automatic packaged boilers. - Basic maintenance skills in boiler equipment repair and troubleshooting.
