**Position summary**

We are currently looking for a highly competent Global Procurement Manager for GHG based in Kuala Lumpur, responsible for leading Nestrade ingredients group activities on GHGE and being the advisor for carbon reduction management.

Reporting directly to the Global Category Manager, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the category strategy for the spend on a global level, by using strategic sourcing processes, tools and policies.

Located in hubs in Switzerland, Panama and Malaysia, our division provides a range of services, including the management of procurement for specific raw materials, packaging, indirect materials and other services. We also support markets with managing local spend. **A day in a life of a Global Procurement Manager - GHG/Ingredients**:

- Support internal stakeholders (Zones, Supply chain and procurement head) in the creation and operationalization of the responsible sourcing and climate change strategies.
- Manage and coach virtual taskforce team members for smooth execution of responsible sourcing operations in country of origins.
- Perform supplier market/category/supply risk analysis and develop Total Cost Ownership (TCO) models to identify improvement opportunities
- Negotiate contracts ensuring the most beneficial commercial agreements with suppliers in line with the strategy
- Manage the relationship with various stakeholders to integrate category plans and outcomes in local budgets and price planning
- In partnership with Supplier Relationship Management Experts plan and review regular contract SLA reviews with suppliers and other functional partners
- Run the daily administrative tasks and ensure they are carried out in a timely and organized manner
- Ensure compliance to Nestlé's Corporate Business Principles, policies and standards tools, utilizing cost models and market knowledge

**What makes you successful**:

- University degree related to Sustainability, Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics or Finance.
- Recognized expertise on carbon management, ethics, and sustainability.
- Demonstrated success in creating and implementing a global strategy on climate change or sustainability
- Experience in sourcing, supplier management or strategic procurement, ideally gained in ingredients categories.
- Experience in risk management, responsible sourcing and/or supplier relationship management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization.
- Fluency in English.
