**Job Summary**:
As a Restaurant Reservation Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless and efficient reservation operations. You will be the first point of contact for guests, providing excellent customer service while managing reservation requests and inquiries. Your attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to create a positive first impression are essential in this role.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Guest Relations**:Provide friendly and professional assistance to guests, answering queries, and offering recommendations. Ensure a positive and seamless experience from the moment of reservation to the dining experience.
- **Communication**:Coordinate effectively with the restaurant staff, including hosts, servers, and management, to manage table allocations, special requests, and ensure accurate information is conveyed to all relevant team members.
- **Upselling**: Promote special events, packages, and promotions to enhance the guest experience. Identify opportunities to upsell and maximize revenue.
- **Problem Resolution**: Address and resolve any issues related to reservations, ensuring guest satisfaction and a positive overall experience.
- **Data Entry**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date reservation records using our reservation system. Compile guest information, preferences, and special requests.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with reservation systems (e.g., SevenRooms).
