**Introduction**

As part of providing value-added recruitment services to our long standing corporate clients, Chrisjac Recruitment is currently seeking qualified Accountant to fill an immediate opening that has arisen in Kuala Lumpur.

**About the job**
The position is full time permanent role reporting to Group Finance Manager.

As Accountant responsible for the Group, you will be responsible to perform full spectrum of accounting and financial reporting in compliance with Malaysian Finance Reporting standards and responsible to perform multi-tier group consolidation and involved in group consolidation and reporting.

The role & duties:

- Preparation and review of group financial reporting, including management accounts and reports, annual statutory, financial statements, budget, income tax/deferred tax computation.
- Manage and prepare quarterly financial reporting to Bursa Malaysia.
- To assist in the preparation of group related work such as consolidation of accounts, management reports, financial analysis, budget, interim/annual financial statements.
- In charge of annual audit exercise for the Group and responsible for the preparation of audited financial statements.

As a qualified Accountant from a group finance function from multi-tier conglomerate, you will demonstrate proven experience of financial report,balance sheet reconciliation and ideally statutory accounting.

Summary of search criteria:

- Malaysian with ACCA/CIMA or minimum a Bachelor degree in Accountancy.
- Proven 3-5 years of relevant work experience in managing group finance in listed environment.
- Prior initial work experience gained from Big 4 or second tier audit firm would be highly regarded.
- Technically competent and up to date with relevant technical accounting pronouncement and standards, especially Financial Reporting standards.
- Familiarity with the requirements of public-listed companies will be an asset.
- Advance-level spreadsheets skills.
