**Industrial Technician**:

- Work mode: Onsite- Onsite Location(s): Penang, MY**Key Responsibilities**
- Work under direction of Industrial Engineers (IE’s) with production areas and support teams on continuous initiatives such as lean, space and other lean related programs such as work content graph (WCG), 5S and value stream mapping (VSM).
- Provide education on standard work to support team, manufacturing specialist and indirect staff stakeholders within the production area as required.
- Support Industrial Engineers in observations, data collection and time studies required for successful lean and standard work implementation.
- Present analysis and results of work to cross functional teams.
- Performing process time monitoring and verification between actual production output versus plan capacity.
- Update layout as per request from 'Layout request form' and work with facility team on layout drawing update in the system.
- Perform, provide guidance and support floor marking activities in production floor.
- Support IE's on new product transfer and equipment setup such as layout design, footprint marking, time study and machine move in activities.
- Perform analysis, design and potential proposal or solution on the general request from production teams.
- Support related training conducted by IE's such as Lean Essentials Training, WCG Training and VSM Training.
- Purchase Industrial Engineering related tools such as stop watch, video camera, measuring tape as per request by IE's.
- Responsible for other projects as assigned by the company.
