Job responsibilities
Direct responsible to follow standard mould and production setup procedure
Direct responsible for timely and efficient mold setup and qualification of setup
Direct responsible in achieving target output in line with the machine and production schedule
Direct responsible in ensuring defined quality level of product
Investigate and eliminate line rejects using appropriate tools and methods and report findings
and corrective actions taken to the superior
Direct responsible for correct and appropriate usage of all production materials, machines,
moulds, tools and equipments
Direct responsible for material preparation and timely mould setup in accordance with the
production schedule
Direct responsible for compliance to ESCATEC SOP and instructions and reporting of variances of
ESCATEC SOP and instructions vs current practice to the superior
Direct responsible for compliance to safety and any measure of safety and ensure safety among
subordinated
Direct responsible for compliance to housekeeping and maintaining of housekeeping any time
Verify material requisition raised by subordinates are complete, correct filled in and timely passed
to supply chain and other relevant department
Constantly monitor and measure the actual quality performance and compare it with established
standard
Train operators in proper handling of machines/equipment and products
Ensure that all relevant and required service reports are raised by the end of the shift for the
entire production department
Execute mold cleaning for all moulds running
Update daily machine parameter tracking sheet, report variances found and ensure verification of
product quality
Prepare work area in accordance with the required product work instruction
Raise service report for any defect found on machinery, equipment and plant wide installation
before the end of the working day
Perform other duties as assigned from superior
Job requirements
Must have at least 5 years similar working experience in a plastic injection molding industry
Preferably certificate & above
Knowledge of operating of injection molding machine is a plus
