Fashion Buyer always remains knowledgeable on the latest fashion trends to help them determine what customers are interested in buying. To properly maintain the merchandise catalog, fashion buyers find the ideal design that fit the brand and style of their stores. It's also their responsibility to manage purchase, logistics and tracking of merchandise to ensure suppliers ship their items on time.

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Research new design, trends or competitors’ inline products for analysis on products, prices and consumer behaviour.
- Discuss design idea with sales and management team and get information about new styles and consumer preferences.
- Prepare purchasing plan according to budget given
- Liaise with suppliers local and overseas for raising of samples, production capacity booking, delivery timing and etc.
- Negotiate product cost and rebates to continually achieve cost control, lower costs for our customers
- Ensure and check the finishing quality and fitting measurement for all new sample are according to the specification before proceeding for production.
- Coordinate new product launching plans and follow-up with the cross function department for smooth delivery.
- Ensure competitive advantage is maintained by paying regular to suppliers and competitors in order to stay abreast of the retail environment
- Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly report.
- Undertake any ad hoc assignments or tasks assigned by the Director.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- At least 2-3 years’ experience in Merchandising, Retail Buying or relevant experience.
- General knowledge of Merchandising, buying process and strong product/fashion/design knowledge.
- Business management skills entail matters like price negotiations and time management, both of which fashion buyers utilize regularly.
- Strategic thinker, have an eye in detail, good commercial sense and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to multitask in fast paced environment, manages competing priorities and meets deadlines
- Strong working knowledge of Excel with good analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Team player, positive attitude, able to multi task and also work on ad-hoc requests.
- Fluent in spoken and written Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia.

**REMUNERATION & BENEFITS**
- RM4,000 - RM4,500 of basic salary (Remuneration package commensurate with experience and qualification)
- Statutory Contribution: EPF + SOCSO + EIS + Staff Benefits

**WORKING HOUR**:
Monday - Friday; 9.00am-6.00pm

**WORKING LOCATION**:
Kampung Raja Uda, Klang

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month

- Monday to Friday

- Klang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
